美國紐約皇后大學爵士作曲碩士，東海音樂系作曲學士。擅長爵士鼓，配樂編曲，於紐約爵士林肯中心Dizzy club登台演出。 在紐約與葛萊美獎得主Michael Mossman，Pete Calandra，James McElwaine學習爵士作曲、電影配樂與錄音工程。 另一方面他也是Nu Jazz Agency爵士經紀人，並與紐約爵士林肯中心合作。

2016年  CHI LIN LU與Jimmy Heath大樂隊。

2017年  與Ellis Marsalis在紐奧良Snug Habor演出。

2017年  和Jazz At Lincoln Center Dizzy Club 與 Ben Paterson合作。 

2018年  在獲得葛萊美獎最佳錄音的John Kilgore工作室工作。

2018年  紅潮劇集《瑪莉皇后的禮服》/ 2019 教育部 反毒音樂劇《光》合作擔任音樂劇作編曲。

2019年  發行個人首張爵士大樂團全創做專輯《Band Era 樂團時代》。

2020年 台灣大學騷動爵士樂團指導老師。

2020年  擔任爵士鋼琴家許郁瑛線上節目《爵士郁瑛房》導演，演出樂手，聲音＆影片後製。

爵士樂

2015年夏天，其霖考上CUNY皇后學院並與格萊美獎得主Michael Philip Mossman學習爵士作曲。經過一年的學習，CHI LIN將他原來的爵士六重奏作品帶回並於台北、台中和高雄舉辦巡迴。一年後，他再次在台北享巷舉辦爵士大樂團原作品音樂會「CHI LIN LU的大樂隊 - 樂隊時代」，演出人員包括張坤德、徐崇育、NIck Javier、許聰義、廖莊廷、鄭皓文。並於2017回到紐約錄製他的八首原創作品，包括Michael Phillip Mossman、David Smith在內的葛萊美獎演奏家。其霖也行政部客委會製作的客家節目，融合傳統客家山歌並改編為爵士大樂團風格供與山狗大樂團演出。

音樂劇

在音樂方面，他在2018年與紅潮劇合作譜寫 “瑪麗皇后”音樂劇，2019年，他為教育部反毒音樂劇《光》擔任音樂劇作編曲。

音樂製作

從EDM音樂、電影配樂、廣告配樂、聲音設計到流行歌曲，其霖不斷專注於音樂製作的不同面向。在紐約擔任錄音師錄製過16軌的爵士小樂團，並與葛萊美獎工程師John Kilgore合作。

古典作品

作為一名古典鋼琴演奏者，其霖曾舉辦過兩場古典鋼琴演奏會與兩場古典作曲音樂會。他畢業於台灣東海大學古典音樂係學士學位。在接受四年古典音樂教育的經典訓練中，他充分吸收了古典樂的精髓，除了演奏古典、巴洛克、浪漫、現代不同時期的鋼琴曲，也創作了鋼琴獨奏曲、小提琴與長笛奏鳴曲與弦樂4重奏、這為他的音樂生涯奠定了堅實的基礎。

Chi Lin's Jazz

In summer 2016, CHI LIN decided to study abroad with the Grammy award winner Michael Philip Mossman in CUNY Queens college. After a year of studying, CHI LIN brought his original septet compositions back to Taiwan and performed in three different cities. A year later, he again performed his jazz concert called『CHI LIN LU's Big Band - Band Era』 which is even larger scale concert that took place in Taipei City. Throughout his successful jazz performance in Taiwan, he decided to record his eight original compositions in New York City with his crew, including Michael Phillip Mossman.

Chi Lin's Musical

In the musical aspect, he has collaborated with the red tide drama "Malay Queen's Dress" in 2018,  a year later 2019, he wrote for the Anti-drug musical "Light" of the Ministry of Education as a musical composer and arranger.

From EDM music / Film Scoring / Sound design to the Pop song, Chi Lin has been focused on different aspects of music producing skills. He is now working with Grammy Award engineer, John Kilgore.

Chi Lin's Classical

As a classical piano training person, Chi Lin has held two major classical piano recitals. He graduated from Taiwan Tunghai University with a Bachelor degree in music composition. Throughout the four years of classical training in his education, he gained tremendous amounts of music experiences and training that gives him a solid foundation for his career.
